The Journey
*************
(1)
I go a long, long way,
Fall, fail, and suffer, in valleys and sand,
I tire, retire, retreat, and rest,
Keeping my milestone in the hand.
**********************************
(2)
The River jumps, dances, falls from the peak,
Breaking barriers- catastrophe, damage, and flee,
And all this thunder, violence, and destruction-
Only to calmly embrace the sea?
***********************************
(3)
I stand at the junction of two roads,
The first unknown path is damaged and distorted,
I choose the other familiar and comfortable path,
That leads me to the point, from where; I started.
***************************************
(4)
The River falls down from the peak,
Running , dancing, jumping, all acts of mime,
She blames the dead, rigid, inert mountain-
who has traveled the everlasting journey of Time.
