The traffic signal is red,
The traffic signal is red,
He stands in corner of street,
Looks at long,long distance-
Endless road is laid to greet.
He is shunted out from play-house-
"-Children in 'Humpy-Dumpy' like logics,
You are useless for modern children,
They don't attract towards your tricks".
" B'Day parties have dance,music,movies,
Dishes,dinner,chats,games for the child,
Who looks at painted, drum-like joker?
Children self- pose as ghost, or animal wild".
Painted face, Mister Joker is now on the road.
Sweating,kicked out from his sixteenth job,
Losing his eighty rupees per day salary,
Honorary, senior P.G. member, of jobless mob.
A car stops near him,before the red signal,
One child waives hand, peeps out of window,
Child shouts,"See Papa, our joker uncle here"
He tries to escape,hide,run,but no way to go.
His painted face,his whole being is shocked,
Desperate,helpless,full of pity for himself-
He tries to control his emotions and tear,
Whispers,"No- joker"-meaningless in itself.
Traffic moves ahead ,the green signal glows,
Ninety second episode ends,full of hoke,
Nobody pays attention, metro life is robotic,
He tries to laugh,"No joker-I am a JOKE".
