(22) The Great Modern Circus

(32)The Great Modern Circus

Welcome to this circus,
It is free of cost,
All are guests here,
Very few are host.

See these poor creatures,
Playing the lion’s role,
Obeying the master’s voice,
Tamed, from head to sole.

                                                            Ringmasters lash the mob,
Mob merrily play the tricks,
People surrender, and learn,
That heaven is behind bricks.

See the colorful players,
Begging your faith and vote,
Swinging above, on the top,
Seek and hide, without a note.

This is the power-play trick,
Balancing oneself in air-
Any moment he seems to fall,
But for five years, glued there.

See, most magical game,
A dancing girl, so dirty,
Most notable,everlasting,
Her name is POVERTY.

Here banners are roof top,
Slogan is the circus-band,
Ringmasters are magicians,
Playing tricks,hand in hand.

Finally, enter the circus-jokers,
Who waive mirrors-high and low,
People see their 'self'-to laugh,
Before 'END'-starts, second show.
